The power of Mobility Data: Discover how every move matters
About the course:
This course serves as an introduction to mobility data, more specifically an introduction to the EIT Masters course on mobility data and science.
It serves as a beginners guide to different types of mobility data, how data is and can be used to create better travel experiences, and how that data can be gathered. Each module goes in depth into specific data demographics, such as data generated by vehicles, data generated by people, and data generated by the city itself.
Our involvement:
We were tasked to break down these complex topics into simple and easy to understand modules with engaging examples and activities. We developed a series of case studies to pair with each module and developed handouts for people to download as reference guides for the future. There was also the challenge of developing infographics to go alongside the content that made learning what at times can be a dry topic into a meaningful experience.
