INSPIRE: Seven Strategies for Ending Violence Against Children
About the course:
An analysis of survey data from 96 countries estimates that over 1 billion children, more than half of those aged 2–17, have experienced some form of emotional, physical, or sexual violence in the past year.
The seven strategies, (Implementation and enforcement of laws, Norms and values, Safe environments, Parent and caregiver support, Income and economic strengthening, Response and support services, and Education and life skills) focus on key areas of improvement that have been identified as a result of the analysis, to better equip those in the sector to end violence against children.
Our involvement:
Our role in this course lay mostly with the build. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, content was pre-approved by experts and we copyedited where we saw fit.
This course was build in EdX, so we made the most of the CSS customisation. Each of the INSPIRE letters coresponds to a colour and an icon, we we incorporated these as much as possible. We also added a functionality at the end of each module that allowed learners to select the next module they wish to work through.

SKILLS USED:
CSS, HTML, copyediting, video editing, branding development.
The course is free and available to all. If you wish to explore our work, you can do so at this link:
